Be prepared because I am about to blow you away with the gorgeousness ( this is an actual word....I googled it! ) of the lovely L ladies! If you follow the blog, these faces will be familiar because I've photographed them a few times before. But each and every time these girls step in front of my camera, magic happens! They're not only unbelievably beautiful, but they are smart and funny and talented, and the list goes on and on and on! If you can't tell, I really do love these girls.......and their wonderful parents too!

Here is yet another session from the Holiday season. All my clients are near and dear to my heart, but there's something so special to me when I get the chance to photograph my friends. I've know this lovely lady for a very long time, and was happy to spend some time with her and her men. We headed up to the apple orchards, which were surprisingly covered in snow! We only had one jacket, and one scarf between the four of us, and my fingers were so cold I could barely work my camera. But looking at these photos you never would have known that we were on the verge of hypothermia!

There is something just so special about photographing pregnancies, it really is one of my favorite aspects of this job. Each time I meet with a new mommy-to-be it takes me right back to that magical time when I was pregnant with Leah. I was one of those weird ladies who absolutely LOVED being pregnant and enjoyed every last minute of it. I remember being so incredibly sad once Leah arrived because I wasn't pregnant anymore......I know, I know, I told you I'm weird.

Here is one of my gorgeous pregnant subjects and her equally adorable family. I hadn't seen this couple since they were pregnant with their first son, so it was a treat to catch up and meet their little gentleman. They are now onto baby number 2, and I'm sure he is going to be just as cute and funny as their first! Congratulations D family.

Well, the crazy season is beginning to calm down, and I finally have a chance to start blogging some of the Holiday sessions from the past few months.

This family is near and dear to my heart. I've known them since I first moved to California almost 9 years ago, and even better, my husband has known them since junior high! We were in each other's weddings, and celebrated the birth of each other's children. I even had the pleasure of photographing their youngest daughter just days after they welcomed her into the world.

On vacation in Seattle, I photographed a dear friend Kelly and her amazingly cute babies, Madelyn and Carter.  We headed over to Lake Tapps and let the kids go!  What a beautiful momma and babies!
